This week

The week started off busy. On Monday, 1st November, I was in meetings at council from 3pm till shortly after 4.30pm. There were workshops scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday (as they are for every week from now until Christmas week) however late notification of this meant I was already committed elsewhere on Wednesday. I tendered my apologies for the Wednesday workshop and hoped to rearrange my schedule in order to make it to the session on Thursday. Alas, this was not to be. The problem with not being able to be in two places at once is that you have to let someone down. Setting priorities is important. I received a hard copy of the presentations and there was nothing presented at either workshop that I am not up to speed with, however, I am aware that there are some members of the public who jump at any chance to criticise a councillor’s attendance record. Getting my name ticked for attendance and leaving a workshop after this is done is not my style.
