		<description>I completely agree with you J. Smith. I was opposed to it right the way through the process but was hoping I would be proven wrong and that the "lantern" would look okay. While I realise mine is a subjective and personal opinion - I just hate the "lantern" (the term used by city council). I hope my other misgiving doesn't come to pass though, which is my concern that we could be paying high maintenance costs for it for years.</description>

		<description>The huge cross on top of the refurbished clock tower is totally out of proportion with the rest of the clock.  Considering the controversy surrounding the appearance of a religious symbol on a city landmark, it's rather cheeky to put an even bigger one on top.  I'm appalled at the amount it has cost.  Surely such money is better spent on roads and footpaths (the latter of which there are few of in Ashhurst, I might add).  I'm disgusted that my money has been spent on the ugliness that is now the Square.</description>
