Fun Facts and History Tweeters

In this, the second of my Twitter #followfriday posts, I am recommending some interesting tweeters to follow for history and little-known facts. Each Friday over the next few weeks I will be blogging about the different interest groups I follow, and why.

The origins of #followfriday are explained in my "Twitter Follow Friday" post.

New Zealand History

I have a great interest in New Zealand history and enjoy getting the tweets from the three below. All are informative, fun, and tweet just enough to be interesting without adding to the noise.

Interesting Facts

  • @qikipedia
Bio 'A' Quite Interesting fact every day from the QI research team.
More about this here: Web http://www.qi.com
These tweets are great fun and are ideal for anyone interested in trivia.
  • @wessexarch
Bio Wessex Archaeology is one of the UK's largest heritage organisations, and an educational charity.
Wessex Archaeology contributes to the British TV show called, "Time Team". If you are a fan of the show these tweets will keep you updated about the latest digs.

Googled "fun with Tweeters," and this site came up number one. Meant to google "fun with twitter," now that I think about it... Oh well, shalom!

I've noticed a few people hitting this page from similar search phrases. If I could figure out just what info they are looking for I could write a post that better suits ;)
