Open Source Developers Conference

The Open Source Developers' Conference 2008 is a conference run by open source developers, for developers and business people. It covers numerous programming languages across a range of operating systems, and related topics such as business processes, licensing, and strategy. Talks vary from introductory pieces through to the deeply technical.

This year, the conference will be in Sydney, Australia during the first week of December (2nd - 5th) and I will be there.

One of the papers being presented is called, "Web accessibility and Content Management Systems", which uses the refactoring of the Mambo CMS as a case study. Should be interesting!

WordCamp is currently on in Sydney so its a busy week for all those who can get there. Hopefully, some of the WordPress developers will stay on for the OSDC. Tap me on the shoulder if you spot me.

More information about the OSDC can be found on the official website.
