Client Showcase
The Mambo Foundation owns the official web sites for the Mambo open source content management system project. They use different domain names for different project information and wanted to update all the sites to present a unified look and feel, while still giving each site a unique identity. This was a challenging project because of the nature of the different web sites and the software each site runs on. The design had to work with several different applications and on different templating engines. The design also had to be simple and easy for volunteers to edit in the future, while also being designed to adapt to later versions of the web applications it is being used with.

After we were given the colour palette to work with, the challenge became one of how to use such a strong colour without overpowering the content. Each of the following screenshots shows the different official sites that were designed from the same base template. The templates are running on Mambo, PHPXref, vBulletin, Confluence, FlySpray and Knowledgebase. You can view each site by following the links from the main Mambo page at http://mambo-foundation.org.
